The Joy of Randomness

 Last night my friends and I were plan on making some mini albums and when I woke up this morning I have so many ideas of the page but the problem is I don't know what I gonna make mini album about ?? 

I browsed around on my computer for a while and still don't know which photos I wanna print out.

So instead of doing mini about something I decided to print out random stuff .

When I got to her house and start working on it I finally figured what I want to do on mini albums.

The title of this mini album is " Random Stuff "

Cover page I use splattered some white color on it just to give more detail.

Little flags fit perfectly on this page

 Card stock sticker and on those birds I use foam sticker to give it more dimension.

 To make this craft paper not too plain I use watermark ink on my stamp and stamp on this craft paper. Turn out totally cute.

 

A lot of journaling on this page. I take out chipboard banners and use it as boarder on this page.

 

Fun time and stuff. I punched pattern paper using Jenni Bowling punch and keep just the tail part to make those little banners.

That's it for the mini album.

The next project is my layout base on sketch on October Afternoon Sketch challenge.

I just love playing with October Afternoon sketch. They are simple and let me use a lot of my imagination to make my own page.

Simple Mini Album

I have been so crazy about making mini books lately and books I made they are just so  easy to make.

Let see what I made.

Mini album of my sister and I.

On this mini book I use patterned paper from American Crafts cut then glue them on one side of the page.

This page 's embellishment are all from DearLizzy Collection,are they cute ?

Trying to squeeze journaling on the page is the hardest part :P

I printed out grid pattern on white card stock and they turn out really simply cute.

Then I just glue all the embellishments

This #2 mini album is A trip that I went with my friends back in 2007.

I bought  Amy Tangerine stuff and some of the new items as well.

I was so excited to use them so here I use them on this mini album. 

They go together really well

I made this flower using ribbons and add brads in center.

Have you seen tab paper in this collection ? They are so cute so here is how I use them on this Minibook

I got this stamp " Everything happens for a reason " from $1 bin at Michaels they are so cute.

Add some dimension by using dimensional sticker.

I cut ribbons and use tiny attacher to attached them on the page.

Chevron stamp I got from $1 bin from Michaels.

Those stars sticker are from AmyTangerine new daybook.

Star glitters.

There's not enough space on mini book for me to write journal so I wrote it on a piece of paper and put it in this envelope.

I just love the cover of this menu album so much. With bright and fun color it's really cheer up my day!

I've bought all of Amy Tangerine daybook. Right now they are just sitting in my are basket waiting to be work on.

Away we go !!

I'm not exactly a photographer, I just love taking pictures.

To get a good photos it took me more than one snaps so some times I end up with a lot of nice photos that I want to put on scrapbook layout . 

To fix that problem I always do a mini album for special occasions or a set of photos that won't fit all in one layout.

This is mini album that I made contains photos of us went to have breakfast in Moab,UT.

On this mini I stay with pinkish theme it wasn't any special occasion but it was our very sweet date  :P

To make this minialbum I cut out pattern paper from Pebbles inc and MyMindsEye fold them in half. Stack all of them together then sewn center of the book.

This mini album is kinda too puffy so I use cloth pin to close it.

Let's look inside.

Add a little detail by sewn hearts in center of the book.

It's pretty simple and easy mini album ( as usual )

Another project is a page of polaroid camera's photos that I found in Thrift Store.

December's stuff

Others are trying to finish their December Daily Albums but I just got done with my " December's stuff " album

It's just a simple circle album that contain highlights of my december.

On the 1st of December we welcome with snow .. a lot of snow so I just stay warm in Starbucks

Family x'mas photo this year we're wearing grey.

Bibimbap : Top on my eating list in Denver.

Moved back in to my house giving me an oppotunities to shop at Asian super market very often  and whatever ingredient you need to make oriental food you named it. So I made my own bob a or bubble tea.

Can't  complete December without X'mas home deco :p

There are too many Valentines items at Archivers I just can't resist not to get them.

I don't think it's too early for Valentines so I bought some presents for my husband and wrap it up with pretty paper

All of these are very easy to make just pattern papers and punch plus sewing.

Supplies : Pepbles Pattern papers, stickers. my minds eye pattern paper, lace trims, circle scallop punch, Border punch from EK Success.

Last project is this layout using sketch from Studio Calico Sunday Sketch.

It's old photo since  summer 2009  that I have not put scrapbook it.

Made my own pinwheel love how  it easy to make and turn out really cute.

Still have a lot of photos that pile up in the shoes box and can't get them all on layout it's might be the time for me to start putting them in mini albums.

The sun is out and I still need to do a little more of shopping since didn't get enough stuff from Santa.
