Mushroom Pencils Pouch

Since I start quilting I've bought a lot of fabrics.
All kind of fabrics. Mostly organic cotton.
I could feel their texture when I touch them.
But I haven't really get a change to use them on quilt much
just some little projects here and there.
So I use this little mushroom fabric
to make a little drawstring pouch for pencils and stuff.

On this pouch simply make drawstring bag using white medium thick fabric.
Then I cut hearts using Doodle Charms cartridge on mushroom pattern fabric.
Then iron on to my bag.
Stamp sentiment.
I made this for " Back to School " Challenge on Cooking with Cricut blog.
So be sure to check out more inspiration on their blog !

Home Decor Projects

Last week I was thinking about wall in my craft room are so plain and need some work and art on them. So I went out and hunt for frames and I found some gorgeous wooden 6x4 frames pack 3 for $2.99

Once I got home I start working on them. It only took me 30 minutes to put them together and this is the result

How I did it :

1. I cut shape using my cricut and cartridge I used is : Cindy Loo,Give a hoot and Spring

2. Then I cut 6x4 pattern paper from American Craft. They are so colorful and bright. Print words on those pattern paper.

3. Adhere shape on paper put it on the frame.

4. Hang them up on your wall sit back and enjoy !!

Now I got a new look for my craft room.

I was having a lot of fun getting back to use my cricut and did cutting design on Gypsy seems like it's going to be more projects using cricut.

Christmas project part 1

It's a lot of Christmas paper collection out there but my favorite of all right now is Crate Paper Peppermint collection.

It's so cute ,fun and full with details.

Let's check out what I made.

#1 I made photo frame in Christmas theme with I bought a wooden photo frame from Hobby lobby and cover with 6x6 pattern papers. Then I use chipboard stickers and buttons to embellish the frame along with scrabble alphabets as title.

#2  Since we can't fine Rudolph and me store any where in Denver so this year I decided to make our own family ornaments for this year which turned out it's much for fun than I thought it'd be and now I think I'm going to do this every year from now on !!

I got this mitten ornaments from Hobby Lobby for 50 cents and covered it with pattern paper and draw around the edge with stickles and let it dry over night. Make sure you always let it dry otherwise it will smear all over the project. Then I insert our this year xmas family photo and use demo label makers crate title.

That's it for altered project. I'll be doing part 2 for all the cards I made this year. I'll made unique card for each of my friends seems like a lot of work ? yes it's  :P
