I keep having problem that I can't see when I'm driving at night so I went to see eyes doctor and she prescribed a new glasses for me.
Now I can see much better. This is my first glasses and so as soon as I put them on I just can't help to take a picture of myself wearing them.
I was thinking about which titel should I use for my glasses scrapbooking layout and I came across this blog TruelyMadlyCrafty and their challenge is NEW so yes I use them as a title for my layout.
Here is layout that I came up with.
It's very simple but I love it !! :P Am I look cute in that glasses ? lol

My Little Scrapbooking Problem
After 1.5 years of scrapbooking I notice that I have the same problem over and over again. I alway finish my page without title. Real problem of that problem is I can't think of a word that I can use for the layout.
Finally I found this lovely blog host a challenge that will help me fix my title problem. " Bird is the word " So I decide to join their current challenge and the word is "Memory"
One of my sweet memory is when my hubby surprise me by taking me some scenic place and stop a car in the middle of nowhere so I take photos. Being Engineer Director keep him very busy and have to be available pretty much 24/7 but as soon as he has time he never forget about spending every second with me while I'm scrapbooking lol
Anyway too much about sweet story lol
Here is my lay out

Have fun challenging myself
Labor Day weekend went really well , all I did was scrapbooking and I also have myself hooked to card making lately. They are so fun to make and I can always sent it to all my friends and family which most of them are away for Colorado.
I have submitted and working on more than 10 projects for blogs. I just love doing the challamge since I always do things without instructions or orders ( even when I was in school or at work lol ) and my hubby said something to make me feel good about that weakness of me was" That's why you are so special ,baby" just hoping that word SPECIAL means somethings good.
So here are some of my work that I work on today to submit on Once Upon a Sketch blog. Prize on this challenge are not just all the pretty goodies but you will be their guest designer for October.

Flowers Holder for the Wall/Door
It's such a nice sunny day here in Grand Junction. I didn't get a good sleep last night because keep thinking about a crafting project to do with all the goodies I bought lastweek.
Even though I was so tired this morning I still dig myself out of the bed and get out to enjoy sunny Sunday.
I have come across a really fabulous challenge on Crate Paper blog. It's color challange host by Tara Anderson.
I usually didn't get to submit my work on challenges because I hardly finish it before deadline. But since I have plenty times in hand now it's easier to finish it on time.
Color Challenge are my most favorite challenge because some times I have hardtime matching color then my work turn out to be really ugly and all over place.
All the supplies I use beside Fabric are 6x6 Paperpad from Random, Farmhouse collection I also added some embellishment using chipboard sticker from Random and Emme's Shoppe collection.

This month color challenge on Crate Paper blog is Rasberry,Petal Pink and Apricot.
It's totally perfect to use their new collection ( Random, Farmhouse )

It took me forever to figured the way how to hang it and I ended up using this brass hanger from drycleaner service.
It's so easy to make beside when I tried to sew clear vinly on them hmmmm !! almost break my sewing machine. So I decided not to use it lol
I have cut 6x6 paper into half then embellished them and sew them on top on the fabric that I have pre-sewn .
I couldn't find a perfect place to hang this lovely thing yet but I'm planing on hang it at the front door ( outside ) that way my neighbors get to enjoy it as well :P
After I finish with this project I still have times to finish some cute little cards. Ahhh love having time to create ♪ ♫♪ ♫♪ ♫

Paper Container from Flatrate Mail Box
Yesterday I have recieved items that I ordered from ebay. It's all the pretty papers from Crate paper new collection ( Random, Papermint ) While I was so excited about all the goodies I have worries and asked myself where can I store them since my 12x12 plastic draw are filled up.
Then I looked at package that store on ebay ( yourscrapbooksupply ) ship it to me .They have packed it nicely and everythings fit in there perfectly so I had an Idea how to store all my pretty papers including chipboard stickers which is size 12x12 that I hardly find space to fit them as well.
So I start to measure and cut up the box then it turned out really perfect also take less space on my desk than old plastice container.
Here is how I made it
1. Start with Medium Flatrate Priority mail box then assembly them together.

Here is how I made it
1. Start with Medium Flatrate Priority mail box then assembly them together.
2. Then draw a line from one side of the box depends on how high you want the papers to be visible. I make it 6.5 inches then draw it to another corner.
3. Cut along that line you just drew it's kind of tricky if you use scissor but if you have box cutter I would suggest you to use it.
That's it !!! How easy, right ? Its perfectly fit all my paper also wayyyyyy easier than mmy old plastic storage.
I have decorate mine with October Afternoon 5&dimes collection 8x8 Paper and card stock sticker then label them.
I didn't cover the whole box because they will be invisible anyway lol so I decided to save my paper for another project instead
This whole project only take me 30 mins. Easy and fast that's how I like to cratf :p
Have a great day everyone.

It's more than just sewing machine :P
I have always been jealous of all those who have neat , pretty sticthes on there scrapbooking page. Couple months ago I bought SewEasy they are nice and work really great also have all kind of different stitch but ... It's a lot of time consuming which is not my kind lol so when I using sew easy I always mess it up.
I decided to buy a sewing machine for my sewing and quilting project but I didn't want to spent on just a sewing machine because I kind of know that I love sewing so instead of I have to buy another machine later on I just bought a sewing+embroidery machine LB 6800 from Brothers. It's really easy to use. I fall in love with my new sewing machine right away.
So I couldn't wait to use it on my scrapbook page.
This is what I came up with.
This machine offer you more than 67 kind of stitches so I have use several of them for title block.
supplies : Crate Paper Emma's shoppe,The girls paperie Kitch Collection,Tim Holtz Film Strips,Jenni Bowling Bingo Card
From now on I don't need to be jealous of anyone about stitching anymore because I can have my own now. I'm still working on some sewing project ..sewing isn't that hard for me but follow instructions and pattern that's the hardest part for me :P
