Rockin' cold weather in sequin sweater.

Hellooooo ! How's everyone doing ?

It's so cold here in Provo and when it's cold it stay cold. Nothing like Denver that you can wear just a hoodie and be warm in winter.

So since I moved here I have to get some new stuff for my wardrobe and of course they need to make me look nice since I have to go out everyday. No more PJs or Lululemon sweat pants around town.

I usually just post  OOTD on my personal Facebook but since this outfit inspired by Kelly Purkey blog post. It would be nice to share them with you.

Last weekend I went to Jcrew in SaltLake city for the first time. A little bit disappointed but I managed it ^_^ While I was wandering around looking for something to purchase I came a cross this grey sequin sweater. Its only one left in large ( I usually wear extra small or XXsmall ) but its a really great deal ! 

And great deals always got me.

I bought it with out trying it on. Until I got home and realize it's too big.

Buts it's so comfy so I just gonna wear it anyway.

This how I wore it.

On top of Madewell tank top which is super long, legging, polka dot knee socks.

Its actually really comfortable and keep me warm. 

and I think I'm fall in love with sequin ...

Looking around there are so many heart, pink, red going on in town.

It's just boring isn't it ?

Let's do a new Valentines theme.

When I see this I lowe scrap paper at Freckled Fawn shop.

I can't resist taking it home with me.

So fun and so much potential that I can use.

When I got home I just start playing with it right away.

And here is a new kind of Valentines Card I came up with.

It's pretty bright  ^_^

Cut file from Studio Calico.

Too lazy to use my sewing machine around this card so I use black ink pen instead.

It works really well.

And this lovely wood chip is a good additional for Valentine's card.

First time w/ Studio Calico card kit.

" Aughhhh This pattern is too big for card making ! "

That's my complain when I make cards.

Just tired of all the pattern on pattern are too big for the card. 

I knew there are 6x6 paper pad out there but not all of them in the pad are cute tho.

So I've decided to purchase a card kit from Studio Calico. 

I gotta said I never disappointed with their kit.

This Block party kit is really cute ! 

It's cheery and fun. Perfect for start your 2013.

Let's take a look at my card.

I made this " Happy Birthday" Card
using card kit and added this Pink paisley Heart Artisan Chipboard
from the scrapbook add-on kit.

Since the kit came with yellow floss I was try to think of the way to make it useful
beside using it to tie a bow. I poke holes on the card then stitch it.

And to give some color to those heart chipboards I use Mister Huey.
It's so bright and bold !

Hello everyone ! 

It's not even January yet but I'm so excited for Valentine !

Who wouldn't ? 

A season to spread your love.

Last week I went to Archivers 

and ran into a massive Valentine scrapbooking supplies.

But what make me even happier is 

They have Crate Paper Fourteen collection in store.

You know how big Archivers store is but 

I can hardly see they have Crate paper supplies in store.

Last one I sew in there was " Emma's Shop " 

So when I see these line I just grabbed all of Fourteen collection that they have in store.

Once I get home I just start making Valentine's card right away.

and here is one of them.

Closer look on chipboard sticker layered on top of each other.

I added a enamel dots for more dimension.

Simply Wonderful

Living in Colorado make me crave for some beach time !

So on Thailand trip I spent 1/3 of my trip in Phuket.

White sand and blue ocean.

A glass of margarita...

Just a perfect vacation. 

And a big break from the Rockies lol

On this layout I use photo I took with my lovely Instax camera.

And create this layout using Studio Calico 34th Street and Kris Kringle kits.

Layer after layer ^_^
