Puri-Kura Sassafras Lass Scrapbook Page

Puri-Kura or Photo Booth layout. Have anyone ever try one of these cute machine ?

Last year my friend and I went to one little cute store in Denver called " Cute Club"

They have Puri-Kura Machine that you can decorate pictures that you take in the booth. It's kind of like " Princess Camera Apps " on Iphone.

This layout I mixed all kind of Sassafras papers and and embellishment collection

There are a lot of cute papers on Sweetly Smitten Collection I have really hard time pick out paper pad that I want to use, just wanna use all of them on one page but I can't lol

I use boarder that I cat off from Cherry Delicious 12x12 paper.

I use flower from Instich Blossom I can't remember what collection tho :(



Beatnik Buds Paper whimsies and put button on top of it. I use pop up just to make the page look more interesting. I spray ink on crochet lace using Tatter Angel Glimmer Mist to change a boring white color lace into a cute orange lace by spray ink red over yellow. 

** To spray ink on lace just the same way when you paint. Lighter color as a base then spray on top with darker color. I have tried yellow over red doesn't really turn out good.

On basic Bazzil Paper I sprayed glimmer mist on it as well.

I will be enter this layout on Sassafras July Challenge. Just keeping my finger cross hopefully they like it :P

Fabric Filled Cards

It's Sunday !! I woke up this morning and went to Micheals to get a heat gun, Yes a heat gun it's my first time doing heat emboss even though I have been scrapbooking for 2 years but I'm scare of all the mess from embossing powder.

Today I got a little bit time to make cards to for Summerset Magazine ( Take Ten ). the rules is each card you can only spent up to 10 minutes on it. So I decide to make something simple and easy.

I make 3 cards for 3 differents occasions

Valentine's Card

I cut a heart shape off canvas then sew all around it. Then tape a plastice sheet on my card stock then filled it up with heart shape paper punche use Martha Stewart punch.

Then just adhere it on card base.

All these card are process under 10 minutes each so I didn't have time to taking pictures of the progess.

October Afternoon 5&dime mini album

I love 5&dime collection from October afternoon !! Who doesn't ?



  

I found these picture of my husband and I when we went up to cripple creek,co gorgeous little casino town in the middle of nowhere in Colorado.

I use Combination between canvas and paper then sew them together with sew easy tools.

First off I cut them using Frisker tool into circle then glue OA paper on canvas sheets and try to cut them into circle without cuttting the paper

Using sew easy tools to peirce holes on circle paper it's hardly to make a perfect circle line out of it but that's the positive things about all the hand craft item ,right ?

All of the page I have sew around the edge in differents style.

This page I use tulle fabric to make flower embellishment the sew button on top of it .

Next page using buttons from 5&dime collection .

Last page I clumbled it then distress using Tim Holtz distress ink pad.

All the journal on this mini album I use my type write (again :) )  I just tired of when I ordered print from the printer and it never turned out the way I wanted lol

That's every one. It took me 3 days to finish it lol but it turn out exactly the way i want.

Burlap Fall MiniAlbum

I bought a bunch of burlap fabric from Hobby Lobby last month and hadn't have a chance to play with them until now.

I tried to challenge myself to use just the Girl's paperie brand on my mini album but when I dig thru my draw and found a lot of cute sticker by October Afternoon 5&Dime collection.






Cover page I used buttons and mini wood spools then spray them with Tatter Angels and distressed using Tim Holtz distress ink.




Trim by The Girls Paperie Tinsel &Twig collection with boarder sticker.






Second page using Brads and Paper punch in small circle from the Girls Paperie Kitch collection.




Third page using the same paper and punch with martha Stewart boarder punch the cut journalling in to strip.





4th page






On this Page was really tough decision for me as I said I tried to challenge myself by using just the girls paperie brand but on this page I have use stickers from OA 5&dime collection.






Last but not least I use nice vintage tag from 7gypsies as a photo-mat





And ticket by Tim Holtz






All journalling on this mini album using my typewriter it's kinda pain but it looks really nice and worth the time eventho I have waste a lot of paper :)

Scrapbook Megastore

Since I drove my own car to Las Vegas on this trip I got to gerbils of the strip and first place I wanted to go is Scrapbook Megastore !!!


It's by the Maccaran Airport not that hard to find.

There are a lot of papers selection, tools, stickers and all kind of embellishments.

They have classes every week and store clerk Leann is totally helpful and knowledgeable.
















They have new items from OA totally gorgeous. The whole rocket age collection along with Bo bunny brand.















I was completely blew away with all kind of scrapbooking stuff they have in store !!

I bought a bunch of papers and epiphany tools can't wait to play with them !!

Add some texture to my October Afternoon lay out :P

It's saturday and I just finish up my page using October Afternoon 5&Dimes collection

My first time using Sew Easy tools as well it's so much fun to work with.

I use some fabric as photomat to add some text on the page then sew it by using sew easy.

Make my own button using Epiphany tool.

I left a lot of room and just use left bottom corner of the page filled up with all the cute little embellishments from this collection.

My daddy took this picture for us when we went to Samed island in Thailand. It was such a beautiful sunset.

Seems like I need to use my camera to take all my picture from now on since my iphone4 didn't do a good job taking photo of this page T_T

Altered Chalkboard For Crate Paper Inc. Color Challenge

Hi everyone . Finally i get one project done.

This is my very first time joining blog challenge. It's really fun actually. I get to challenge mysel as well but din't eally do a good job on that

I altered a chalkboard that I bought from Hobby Lobby. They are so adorable it's about 8x11 inch. Perfect for my desk.

I paint it with acrylic color in sunshine yellow.

I gotta admit this this the hardest process for me because since I was a little kid I always paint every kind out color outside the area that I wanted to ( may be that's why I always think outside the box lol )  I taped black part of chalkboard but still got it all over. Luckily it's acrylic color so it's removable.

For decoration I use this lovely Crate Paper Emma's Shoppe 6x6 Paper pad.

I cut them into a small stripe just to fit the edge or chalkboard. and glue them around.

Making my own button using Epiphany button maker size 20

They turn out perfect now I can make buttons that will match all my page perfectly.

Some butterflies that i punch out and put some flatback pearls on.

And the center of attraction is here !! Banner that I make for this chalkboard because then I can write scrap that I have to get done for the challenges.

They turn out really cute and will be useful for me since I'm such a forgetful person :P

I'm not a good writer but I will try to practice more then I can do some tutorial for others to get an idea how I create them.
