Commitment/Talent

Grew up in very strict environment for me is a good things because every things I do or planing to do. I need to make a commitment for it and make sure that things will happens exactly the way it should be.

When I was in high school I had a goal to get into top 3 college and I did it with the commitment of studied hard for the exam and made sure I have my GPA over 3.00.

Once I'm in college I commit to graduated. I was a little bit of track with all the parties lol then I got back on and get my degree.

Every decisions and every steps I live my life are planed either by me or god.

So now my goal is being able to share my passion and talents in paper crafting with others. This goal is taking a lot more than just commitment.

After long hours learning/trying new techniques and looking around for inspiration. One of the important part to be able to achives this goal it's some thing that I can't control something that I have to leave it up to God. Something called "Talent "

Just like I was a cheerleader in high school thru college but never be able to sing.

With 2 hands and 1 brain that I have, I can only do so much with my talent.

But the only thing I keep telling myself over and over again is

" Do my best and enjoy it, the rest is in God hands "

Today projects is my layout and Valentine card

For some reason I have been really crazy about using white as my layout background lately.

I just think I every pattern papers, photos, embellishments pop out more on white paper
just like how I have my blog in a plain white theme.

" Stay Healthy "

On this layout I challenged myself to mix supplies from different manufacturers which included

American Crafts, October Afternoon, JilliBeans Soup, Basic Grey,
Sassafras and Crate Paper.

because since CHA 2012 is over

I assume that it will be so many cute and fun scrapbooking supplies that
I'm going to get in order to do it without having to worry about
where to hide  store them I need to use up what I already have in hand.

Close up photo for detail.

My new favorite way to add more detail is adding this thread.

I use Sizzix star die cut and drew them  all over my layout before using Exacto knife to cut them of the page then mat behind with pattern papers and foam dots.

Turned out just the way I have imagined.

"Me & You"

Valentine card I create for Scrapbook Trends Create 's Blog.

On this card I only use Crate Paper Random collection.
They are so perfect for Valentine's card when you don't want
a usual red, white, pink or heart Valentine's theme
